Desert Scenes

On the way to paraglide at Mag Rim I saw two big birds on top of telephone poles. At first glance I thought they were turkey vultures, but when I went by I realized that wasn't right. I backed up and grabbed my camera. They didn't like that and took flight. But they only went a few poles down so I eased the vehicle forward. I leaned out the window to shoot so I didn't spook them again. Looking at the photos, I think they were golden eagles.

Even the skeletons of dead cactus make interesting patterns:
