After crossing back into Canada near Abbotsford, we were close to the Greater Vancouver Zoo so we stopped in for a visit.
The zoo covers quite a large area and is mostly outdoors in a park like setting. Unfortunately it's not very good for photography since most of the enclosures are heavy chain link fence, and often several layers of fence. And many of the enclosures are large, which is good, but it means the animals can be far away. So I didn't get a lot of photos, but it was a beautiful morning and we had a nice walk around.
The bald eagles were injured, rescued birds.
Wild eagles were flying overhead.
