After spending the night at the Zion Park Lodge, in the morning we went for a hike on the Emerald Pools trail that starts right across the road. First stop was more photos of my friends the wild turkeys. My question was, "Why did the turkey cross the road?". Shelley's answer, "To get away from the photographer!".
It was only supposed to be a short hike, but I took a ton of photos (almost 400) which seriously slowed our pace :-) Luckily Shelley is very patient with my photo taking!
