Along the River

Saturday mornings we go to the farmers market. This morning I decided to walk and meet Shelley there so I could take some pictures along the way.

The ducks (Common Goldeneye, I think) were silently patrolling the river.

The rising sun on the steam from buildings across the river almost looked like flames.

And the geese were just waking up and pulling their heads out from under their wings.
